We Must Protect Oakland County's Drinking Water

The Flint Water Crisis has made where and how we get our water a national conversation. Jim has led efforts to protect the safety and quality of our drinking water. Jim has:

  • Reduced risk of lead exposure, especially in the older, more vulnerable areas like Pontiac.
  • Supported testing of school drinking water in order to protect the next generation.
  • Expanded public education programs to promote preservation through his nonprofit, Pure Oakland Water, and town halls with other local elected officials.
